I literally just moved into a rental home and girl, everything is BEIGE. We’re not supposed to paint, but can paint if we paint back. Our goal is to stay here for just a hear until we can find our forever home. That being said, I don’t know if I can do beige walls in every room. Even though it’s a good beige, I need a little something else in my life. Enter wallpaper.
I know, wallpaper seems like such a permanent solution but between peel and stick wallpaper, paintable wallpaper and this DIY wallpaper installation technique. I think you’ll be seeing a LOT of wallpaper from me in the next little bit. I will say it’s not the most budget-friendly option, but it sure is rental friendly décor.
I haven’t nailed down exactly what I want to do with any of the rooms but I picked out seven papers from Photowall.com that I’m seriously loving. They sent me over a code to get some free wallpaper and these are what I’ve narrowed it down to.
Whether or not they make it into a room design remains to be seen.
Wall Murals
Ok. so I’m a pretty neutral girl (even though I’m trying to banish the beige) but wall murals are just calling my name right now.
I’d love to use this in my office. I’m definitely going bold there
now this will not make it into my home, but my newest nephew needs a nursery and this mural speaks life to me!
Isn’t this just stunning. It’s a little too stark black and white for my warm home, but sooo chic!
Texture Wallpaper
There is something about a textured wall that makes me want to do a happy dance. Running your hands across the grain gives me goosebumps in a good way. Textured paper is generally expensive. These give the allusion of texture without the same price tag.
one of these two patterns would give my 10-year-old boy’s room a big boost of style. We’re sticking with red, black and white but certainly won’t be painting another wall red. The wood or brick look would do wonders.
Pattern.
Pattern can be subtle or bold. Bold patterns are not my jam, but can certainly liven up a space. Subtle pattern can lend itself to just enough visual interest to take a boring room to amazing.
So this is bold and subtle all a the same time. I’m more of a subtle girl, but the neutral color kinda tones it down just a bit. it’s also very modern. I’m more in between traditional and contemporary. A girl can dream, but I seriously doubt I’ll be bold enough to take the plunge.
Wallpaper can add some major wow to a room–even if you’re renting. Let’s see which of these actually make the cut.

These options are amazing. I’ve never seen wallpapers that look this good! I thought the tropical one was real plants and then I realized it’s the wall paper ?. The modern black and white one is straight fiyaa! I love it is an understatement. It’s artsy in a sophisticated way. They’re all Great Wallpapers.
