I usually do my own decorating but decided to get a decorator to do it( I’m getting on a bit). My decorator was excellent but the colours I chose were awful. I can’t stand looking at it. I made a huge mistake with the colours despite spending hours looking at colours.I thought I had chosen the right ones. I’m ashamed at my reaction to the effect but can’t stand living with it. Money right down the drain. I will now have to do it myself or pay again. I really messed up. Anyone else ever do this.

I love this post! I’ve tried and failed so many times when trying to decorate my room or my dorm room, mainly with DIY projects. One time I tried to add gold polka dots to my nightstand, and let’s just say it was… abstract? I worked with it until I could get a newer, nicer nightstand, though! And even though the outcome of the DIY’d nightstand was a disaster, at least I had fun with it, and that’s what counts!
