Hi! Your kitchen looks beautiful! The blue of the lower cabinets is gorgeous! You have given me the confident to do the same to my kitchen. And, yup, I’ve been staring at my kitchen for just as long. It’s time to change that! 🙂

In reply to Morgan. Hi Morgan. Thanks so much! I was a total newbie to all things DIY when I worked with the MDF. From what people tell me it should be covered in an oil-based primer rather than a regular primer. I didn't have any issues with it except for under the sink where it got wet. But I think wood would have done the same thing. MDF was a GREAT material for me. Now that I've done a little more woodwork, I could handle using wood more easily that's all.

You have done an amazing job!!!! I’m about to tackle mine (literally, have all the supplies and tools already on hand), but I just saw this update about not using MDF. Why would you switch from the MDF you used to wood? I bought plywood, but was about to switch to MDF because yours looks so good, but now I’m wondering if you think plywood would be better…
